[講座摘要]電視新聞一直以其獨特的屬性備受研究者的青睞。本講座以電視新聞為例，闡述每一個研究議題多視角研究的重要性。我們從新聞的采集🚮➖，新聞的功能，新聞效果和影響新聞的因素四個大主題發掘研究的系統性和連續性👩🏼‍🦰。重點闡述電視新聞的認知研究🧚🏻‍♂️、影響電視新聞認知的主要因素👃、電視新聞認知研究的理論基礎🗜、及電視新聞認知的測量方法，以達到舉一反三的效果⏭。

[Brief Introduction of the Lecture] Television news is a favorite domain for research because of its unique attributes. This lecture uses TV news as an example to illustrate the importance of perspectives in the process to ensure that research is systematic and continuous. The talk focuses on four major areas of news including news gathering, news functions, news effects and factors influencing news. Special emphasis will be on news cognition, delineating variables affecting TV news cognition, its theoretical basis, and its measurement methods.

周樹華博士🙋🏿‍♀️，現為美國密蘇裏大學新聞意昂3Leonard H.Goldenson講席教授👴🏿。國際中華傳播學會會長 （2017-2019）， 亞太傳播聯盟（ACPC）副主席（2018-2021）； 國際傳播學會（ICA）終身會員； 美國華人社科教授協會終身會員；美國華人院校長協會會員🛍。《Computer in Human Behavior》 和《傳媒與社會》兩刊編輯，多種SSCI期刊編委💆🏿‍♀️。

Dr. Shuhua Zhou is Professor and Leonard H. Goldenson Endowed Chair in Radio and Television of School of Journalism at University of Missouri. He is the current president of the Chinese Communication Association (2017-2019), Vice President of the Asian-Pacific Communication Alliance (APCA), tenured member of the International Communication Association (ICA); tenured member of the Association of Chinese Professors of Social Sciences in the United States (ACPSS) and member of the Council of Chinese American Deans and Presidents. Prof. Zhou also serves as the editor of Communication and Society and associate editor of Computers in Human Behavior, as well as a member of the editorial board of several peer-reviewed journals.
